Lynch Plant Invests In Five More Terex® Trucks

MOTHERWELL, SCOTLAND, July 21, 2008---Lynch Plant Hire, has purchased five additional Terex® TA30 articulated trucks, taking their total Terex® dump trucks to 30 units. This new investment comes as a result of increased construction projects in the London area, according to Merrill Lynch, Operations Director for Lynch Plant.

“It’s encouraging that heavy equipment is still in demand, despite all the negative forecasts we’re hearing about the construction industry,” comments Mr. Lynch. “The requests for articulated trucks just keep coming in - we’ve invested in five more to keep up with the amount of customer orders we are receiving. Our decision to purchase Terex® trucks again was due to their reliability and endurance on the job.”

Lynch Plant, which now own one of the largest Terex® truck fleets in the UK, will soon install the CESAR ID technology on its fleet of 800 machines (including the newly purchased Terex® trucks) in a move to combat plant and equipment theft for their customers.
